-Comply with the Nursing Department procedures, policies, and standards in the execution of your daily duties and new changes.
-Assist the consultant in clinical assessments (rounds) and procedures. Communicate effectively with all hospital departments to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. (e.g., coordinate patient transportation to diagnostic procedures, prepare supplies for procedures, and provide updates to the patient’s family, etc.)
-Guarantee that all medical devices and equipment are properly disinfected and sterilized to maintain a sterile environment. Assist the manager in ensuring that the department is ready to receive patients (e.g., equipment, supplies, and systems). Ensure that all charges are accurate and billed correctly. Achieve departmental and personal KPIs and QA goals.
-Supervise and determine changes in patient condition (including response to treatment, contributing factors to clinical complaints, etc.), and intervene emergently as needed.
